Patchouli Réminiscence 1970 Eau de Toilette

Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of "Patchouli | Réminiscence" :-) This fragrance is not feminine for me but definitely unisex. Unfortunately, I don't really like it because of its strong earthiness. The longevity is solid at around 5 to 6 hours and the sillage is also rather mediocre.

The top note starts sweet and dark with lots of labdanum, licorice, ribwort syrup and dried plums. The heart note then becomes quite mossy, earthy, musty and resinous. Here I recognize patchouli, root-like vetiver and cedarwood. The base continues to smell earthy, woody but also a little balsamic and sour like tolu balsam.

Unfortunately, I didn't really warm to this fragrance. What a pity!
