Where does that delicious woodruff come from?
I just see that this great scent has been around since 2009 and no one has written a comment about it yet. This makes me want to write my first Parfumo comment, as it really doesn't deserve that.
I don't really remember how I ended up buying it blindly, maybe because of the good base of tonka bean and vanilla, or it was on sale at the time :o)
But now to the scent: I can't really smell the listed ingredients in the fragrance pyramid, whether it's due to my still lacking good Parfumo (dog) nose or if the scent just doesn't seem that complex, I can't say. Nevertheless, the scent starts fresh and citrusy and becomes slightly woody over time. What I mainly perceive after that, and this continues until the end of the scent's development, is a super delicious slightly fizzy woodruff note. So as a gourmand fragrance lover, it makes me crave woodruff soda, jelly, and since it was nice and hot last week, also woodruff ice cream. Therefore, this scent fits for me just as well as woodruff monster slush for summer and can be worn during this season.
I would describe the longevity as also good, even though I perceive it more like most high-priced perfumes, rather later than close to the skin.
So now I'm curious who among you can also smell the woodruff and can explain from which tonka bean it has crawled out :oD
