Desert Wind
The nights in the desert are cool, often cold,
what a blessing to find refuge in the oasis.
Cedar trees line the way,
in the midst, even a lemon grove.
Massive angelica borders the paths,
delicate geraniums adorn the animal enclosures.

But wait, where is this freshness now?
I almost think I'm sweating,
could all this just be a mirage?

I open my eyes, lying in the sand,
sunburn everywhere on my skin.
A breeze, at first gentle like smoke,
carries spices to my nose, cardamom I think too.
I wish for grasses, they are there in my fantasies as well,
seeking coolness, I roll onto my stomach.
The heat almost scorches my insides,
I drift away, instead of heat, there is warmth.
The Scirocco now actually stormy and loud,
gently caresses my skin.
I fantasize and escape reality even further,
musk now becomes the companion of the spices.
Patchouli waves of sand
penetrate every crevice of my garment.
I know that if I stay lying here,
they will soon cover my body.

There is freshness again, I can hardly believe it,
in truth, I lean against a tree.
It is the cedar that provides me shade,
I was never blinded by the sun in the desert.

This scent truly makes the journey from freshness to spicy desert wind, and back to the freshness that still carries remnants of the desert wind.
In any case, an interesting scent for a test.
Thank you Nui, for sparking my interest.

The Last Desert Rider
He sits in the café in the shade, a cup of angelica tea with lemon sullenly in front of him. Just a piece of sugar, the doctor said. What do doctors know anyway? After all, he is already over a hundred, a living legend. But hardly anyone remembers that anymore. The Scirocco blows hot through the streets.

They called him Al Rocco, after the wind. For he was as fast as the wind on his horse and known throughout the Maghreb. No bandit could harm him; he was always faster, and if necessary, he had his rifle. And he was hot-blooded too, oh yes, the women desired him in every village he brought news to. He remembers one, dark eyes behind a veil, so seductive…

The noise from the market, the scent of spices, the resin of the merchants, and the sweet smell of incense pull him out of his dreams. Sullenly, he takes a sip of his tea. The hot wind always blows through the streets and his bones, that damned wind…

-----------

Scirocco is a light fragrance that should have something for almost everyone. Citrusy start, then a bit of flowers, fluffy resins, and spices (thankfully without cumin). In the base, there's everything the heart desires: labdanum, musk, vetiver, patchouli, and cedar. I don't find it very synthetic.

On the skin, you can track the development of the scent well, as something different always comes to the surface. However, it ends here after 2-3 hours. On fabric, it lasts significantly better, 5 to 7 hours, but I can't perceive the individual notes as distinctly. Here, it feels more like a whole. A better longevity on the skin would have been nice.

This Scirocco is not a wild, hot desert wind, but also not a completely mild breeze - warm and gentle, it brushes over the skin, just like the desert wind arrives in Italy after its long journey...

Find has an elegant fresh citrus note.
I must honestly admit I like it.
Definitely no mistake in spring/summer.
I find it unisex.

Fragrance reflection
Oasis where green lemons rise
Resins warm as winds blow
Earth trees stand in geraniums
And grasses weave through flower musk

Unexpectedly unites seemingly contradictory notes (rhubarb, iris, resin, spice) into a harmonious yet subtly pale whole.

The desert wind carries spice blossoms
through resinous alleys and bright green
towards the musk
it only smokes a little now
patchouli leaves are unhealthy

A rather sharp scent with a tendency towards the bitter. Rhubarb sits a bit uncomfortably over the floral woody base notes. Not my thing.

Woody-balsamic, fruity note with fresh acidity; RoGe, cedar, musk. Reminds me of Minotaure in the middle. Then spicy with patchouli°°°

Fruity, floral, and spicy - it hits you right away. Amazing! Reminds me of What About Adam, just without the tomato. Good thing I have it.

It comes across as very synthetic, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
