Musk Aoud Absolue Précieux Roja Parfums 2013

Hello everyone,

without any detours and a lot of BLABLA, let's get straight to the 1, 2, 3 points that I think are important. Firstly, the reason for the title.

When I started the hobby in 1999, I told myself that I would never buy a fragrance for 200 DM... in 2012, I got to know the niche world by chance and my spending mindset quickly became wishful thinking... we quickly went in the direction of 300€ and many of my NIshane (Prestige Collection) blew up those under 500€. Then I told myself I would never spend over €500!

Well... a few weeks/month(s) ago the Alexandria II Anniversary came out for 580€ and I bought that one too... and NOW (!) I'm talking about a 1000€ fragrance.... funny world....

Just 2 - 3 weeks ago I got a leftover bottle of Musk Aoud Absolue Précieux from 2015 ... and WOW how beautiful is that please!
What exactly do we have here?

Describing this fragrance in a few words borders on a true lèse-majesté insult, but I'll try to keep it short.

Here we have a LUXURIOUS OUD fragrance with very very (!) little ANIMALIK, with other extremely high-quality woods, a spicy component of nutmeg and ambrette seeds - which act like a wonderful and light (boss) musk, plus leather and YES it looks like chocolate in the drydown....

(I also know some fragrances from EO and ALD and their musk is really hard..., here everything is easy/ soft and really perfectly ok, otherwise I wouldn't talk about it like that!)

The performance is (with mine) when I talk about numbers, then we are in the "noticeable" 20h range (and more), even the sillage is still there after 14h and that is more than remarkable...

Briefly about the OVP, the bottle, sprayer, lid and co., I consider anything other than a 9 or 10 to be QUATSCH. As far as the pure quality of the sprayers is concerned, only Chanel and Dior can compete (no XJ, no PDM, no Nishane and certainly not Amouage), if then Clive Christian! Yes, everyone can see and evaluate the lid and the little stones as they wish = it's a matter of taste, but REST is top!
On the subject of price:

I'm kind of PITY to talk about it because it's relative = just like my words..., but I'm a merchant and at the end of the day I also evaluate the overall package and 1000€ for 30ml is not just sporty.... you have to want that and be a FAN of the brand or the fragrance... , I will NEVER say something like RECOMMEND TO BUY or buy THIS, but one thing has to be said..., it's already AWESOMELY GOOD!

Is it worth it?
NO!

Is it absolutely necessary?
NO!

Is it good?
YES MAN!

Is it worth a TEST?
Somehow it is...

Would I honestly buy it again?
Now that I have and know it, I'd probably be LYING if I said never, but I'll put it this way, if I could find another bottle at a fair price, I wouldn't say no!

Why?
You only wear such a special fragrance on very select occasions (that's the case for me). And if I were to use it more often, its charm and magic would evaporate very quickly - besides, if you don't use 10 sprays of Musk Aoud Absolue Précieux, it's simply too potent!
That's why it will live a WHILE ;)

It's definitely worth a test!
