Fresh breath
Incantation of a sorceress for making the winter disappear, and force spring to come early, when the air is still fresh, but you also smell the fresh aromas of the new-born plants.
It really smells a bit cold, and emits that surprising fragrance, which you can feel when you crush a herb with your sole, vein network of the leaves are the same, and still INCANTATION is a shady perfume, that is not the brilliantly shining spring of NUBIA or ACQUA FIORENTINA, but the one that you experience in great coat. Even the bottle suggests frozen windows with finger-drawn figures.

Fig leaf returns till the end, orange blossom is also strong, however without the pumpkin aroma, that I do not like in this note, so I enjoy it.
I was a bit in hurry to sniff INCANTATION enough carefully, since it does not lasts too long, and is a relatively weak fragrance.

Cassis-Fig Leaf Combo
Incantation was the first fragrance from Rouge Bunny Rouge that I tested. It belongs to the women's collection "Scented Confections," which is recognizable by the bright milk glass bottles adorned with botanical illustrations. Each bottle features a different plant, but I can't say whether that has anything to do with the ingredients contained in the fragrance.

You can read about the brand itself in the next paragraph. For those who have already read another comment of mine about this brand, you can simply skip it, as I have copied the description. This is more for those who just want to read about a single fragrance.

The brand, founded by Alexandra de Montford, offers makeup products and also perfume. The products are meant to combine opulence with beauty, with romance and uniqueness as the cornerstones of the company philosophy. With fantastic tales from the Victorian era and royal Tsarism (does the brand actually come from the UK or Russia?), the lost art of storytelling is to be revived. In a Victorian fairy-tale style, magical yet adult narratives are to be conveyed. These "seraphic mysteries" are guarded by a wondrous rabbit who holds the key. This explains the strange name.
The products combine craftsmanship with aesthetic implementation, aiming to highlight natural beauty and timeless elegance. This is stated on the brand's homepage.

A look at the fragrance pyramid before spraying it on initially put me off: fig leaf. I love eating figs, but I don't need that in a fragrance. But then there's green tea. I like that, and it piques my curiosity, so: on to the skin. At first, the fragrance starts off very green, and I also perceive the citrus fruits. I smell the green tea, but along with it come cassis and fig leaf. Especially the bitter fig leaf becomes increasingly dominant over time and, unfortunately for me, a bit piercing. Every now and then, I catch a whiff of the tea, which is very pleasant and gives the fragrance a fresh and invigorating quality. All in all, however, the cassis-fig leaf note is predominant and remains distinctly noticeable until the end, which bothers me so much that this fragrance is definitely not for me. Towards the base, the fragrance becomes a bit harsher, which could come from the vetiver-cedarwood blend, but not much else happens. The sillage is quite strong for a green fragrance in the first few hours, but then it somehow tapers off. The longevity on the skin is quite good.

Overall, Incantation is not a bad fragrance for spring/summer if you like cassis and fig, but it's also not particularly special.

Cassis for me lacks distinctiveness, too sweet, interchangeable, too close to mainstream. I don't need a niche for that. A pale feminine something.

Concept: Wooden table in the summer garden. Fig, lime, berries. Orange blossoms bring warmth. But unfortunately, it remains just an outline, it lacks depth.

Berry...uhm (currant-)fig scent, fresh, creamy-green and sweet. The currant adds an interesting twist.

Summer, berries, fresh lemon, a green garden, lovely spice, something sweet, something woody, something animalistic... beautiful magic.
