Transported to the sea

When I first sprayed this, I wasn't too impressed. Generally, I'm not a fan of marine scents, so on the first sniff, I was definitely in the wrong mindset and dismissive of the complexity that lay beneath. I left it for a day and then came back to it with a more open mind, and when I tell you I was impressed... wow.

This is not your typical screeching and obnoxious citrus layered over the top of marine notes with no depth (ironic for ocean-inspired fragrances).

It smells like watching a piece of driftwood bob up and down in a calm, glimmering ocean. A little bit hazy in the distance. It's so soft and comforting even though I don't have powerful positive associations with the sea. Airy florals dancing in the wind. Lightly green and citrusy. Natural. The musky, woody base ties it together with a bow.

Delectable.

I feel like anyone could pull this off, but not in the same way as some designer fragrances.
