Simplicity in its most brilliant form
Wow, what an awesome blind buy I just received. I still don’t know exactly what from my childhood this scent reminds me of. Maybe candies that were around back then, or the smell of fresh car polish with a hint of mandarin. Did such a thing exist back then? I really can’t remember, but I associate it with pleasant memories. If anyone buys this scent and feels reminded of something, please write in the comments what it is.
Now, let’s get to the scent itself; let’s skip all the “unnecessary” details about the scent development. Why? Quite simply, there isn’t any, nothing complex to sniff out or imagine. It smells from start to finish like mandarin, not too sweet, not too sour, synthetic if you will, but just like delicious mandarin.
Now to the bottle, which in my eyes is also a masterpiece in its simplicity. Once you free it from the orange cardboard box, you’re amazed by the overall simplicity. There’s nothing made of delicate, brittle, or ornate glass or anything like that. No, it’s made of lightweight, rough, orange hard plastic that looks like it was ripped from cheap car upholstery, durable for eternity. This means both I and construction workers (if any of you are reading this, not meant negatively, you guys and gals do a great job) can handle it without fear of it breaking in our hands. No, it can also easily go in the hiking backpack without any problems.
As for the sillage and longevity… when my wife tells me that a spritz of this is enough :o), I would describe it as quite good to very good. I haven’t even heard that with One Million, and some consider that the ultimate mass contaminator stink.
Conclusion: for the price, it’s definitely worth grabbing.
