Just an good all round classic which is still wearable!
Firstly, I swear if this was repackaged to a younger audience using a fashionable "celebrity" it would make a big comeback.

They made this at the factory not far from me and I'm sure half the men in the area had it lol. It has a lemonade vibe which is, dare I say, slightly modern and a nod to sugar factory frags of today, but, in a very good way if that's possible?!

This is an all round great everyday scent but could definitely be worn out as it used to be, if the longevity was better. See, that's what let's it down. It's longevity used to be so much better as I recall.

The price reflects it's loss of power and it lasts an hour if you're lucky.
However it's still in production and that speaks volumes. A good buy for those on a budget too.

I won't go into the notes as I'm seriously confused about what they actually are haha. There's definitely citrus, lavender and aldehydes. I struggle to find woods though, if they're there it's faded before they get a chance to appear.

Regardless it's still a classic, it's still in production and even if you only use it for yourself after a shower for the price it's a goodun.

A perfect day like today (powdered lavender),
is completely cloudless, sunny and a little cool like this fragrance, which was completely forgotten by me for over 30 years. Through a review read by chance from here, I tried to transport this scent (I once owned it) from my memory to the present day - no way, I didn't succeed at all. So it could not have been that good. Then the usual game, how expensive is it in the net ?: 4,60 EUR (impudence!). You can't spend money unnecessarily in public at the moment, so give it to me. And it was not a bad buy. A little bit citric, lavendery in the beginning. Then medically with a minimal WC fragrance stone note and next step slightly sweet, fresh and I call it once light emerald green powdery leaking. Minimal synthetic, but not disturbing. You notice it is not from this time, but that should not be a mistake, but there is no trace of oldfashioned. No Christmas spices or resin, even beautiful. Covered but perceptible, even by the wearer himself, which I always find important. It is the perfect scent for a day at the sea: optimistic, intimate and easy. This fragrance has a unique selling point for me: it gives the wearer a new or better said different perspective on fragrances.
The most likely choice is probably a discreetly cozy mixture of Brut Faberge, Biotherm Agua and Felce Azzurra.

How To Unleash Your Power Animal
Shulton Blue Stratos was called the biggest new-product introduction in the history of men's fragrances after Old Spice, which now and for several years has had a high share of the market, but no growth. Blue Stratos as a scent, something reminiscent of Old Spice and Brut from Fabergé, the two leaders, was formulated with a brisk and bold blue sky in mind for the free spirit in man.

I've just got aware of Blue Stratos recently, a coworker of mine was wearing it and a soft powdery cloud was surrounding him and filling his cubicle. And it was bloody good. I could not believe it when he told me what it was and how ridiculous was its price on Amazon, much less than 10 bucks. I was intrigued to try this, having never heard of it. Ultimately, I got it and here you are.

First things first, the scent is classified as classic fougere, a simple but competent fougere worlds better than Brut Fabergé. The citrus top accord is spot on! Lemon, lime, and bergamot peel's oil, quickly caught up by fresh lavender, green geranium, and light barely mild patchouli. Initially, it smells very unisex, powdery, like 'posh soap' and bath cubes.

It widens out, however, and becomes somewhat richer and deeper, with a slightly creamy edge to it. Floral, with a touch of gentle Bulgarian rose. It's a very clean smell, but softer and with less punch than e.g. Tabac and Old Spice, even though it sometimes mimics parts of that fragrance's aroma. Musky lavender, in which the lavender is stripped of anything particularly bracing or harsh, yet there's nothing quite like it. As the subtle theming develops, it reveals spicy notes of basil and anis complimented by geranium.

The base notes settle into the unique signature of woody vanilla, with faint citrus and florals still discernible. Some dark patchouli and cedarwood are equally well balanced with the sweet amber and clean musk. The scent is well-rounded and becomes mellow, quite refined and more masculine during the transition between middle and base notes.

Many children of the 70s and 80s will have an olfactory memory of Blue Stratos; either aftershave or talcum powder and if the scent has been reformulated at all, it hasn't changed all that much. It's surely a daytime scent, though this is a matter of taste and what works for a person's skin. Very old fashioned and very comforting as well. Great as a summer scent after shower splash. Someone's review referred to it as 'inoffensive' and it is. It's cheap, but not poor, and it unquestionably isn't nasty. And so I give it a thumbs up. Sillage is awesome, that's why I got aware of its existence, pleasant for you and people close to you to enjoy. Spray more if you want to project more. As for longevity, it is quite decent but close to the skin for the final stretch. It is light and cool and sweet and bracing, definitely of its day (1976) and definitely of the Old Spice school, having originally been made by the same company, Shulton.

It is very close to the classic Brut Fabergé in the mildness and coolness of its overall scent, with its combination of jasmine and a certain old-fashioned and pleasing nuttiness. Most unusual for a men's cologne. I agree it is somewhere between Brut and Old spice, but the vanilla stands it apart from the 2. I find it very fresh, uncomplicated and clean smelling.

BLUE STRATOS, perfect Méditerranée
BLUE STRATOS is what you see.

Even after the revival (1995) by an enthusiastic fan, it has not lost its unique scent. This bouquet smells as it looks, a radiantly glistening white-blue moment on the Greek sea, seen from the top terrace, while the white seagulls circle in the aqua blue sky. Only a fine breath of wind sometimes whirls around the salty skin and the dream of the perfect Méditerranée has come true...

...and comes out of a sapphire blue bottle.

Lime, herbs, lavender and woods in a breathtakingly nuanced composition, leave even the man, who otherwise perhaps does not tend to the citric, all doubts blown away.

BLUE STRATOS is the aquatic experience par excellence, although nothing aquatic has been added here. This water is what others want to be aquatic.
A masterpiece of citric freshness, which hardly smells citric, because the mixture was so skilfully combined that from the beginning fragrances of lime, lavender, ylang and wood exclude one-sidedness.
The course then becomes soapier and when the albatross has long since flown across the sea and wakes up the next morning on a dune, BLUE STRATOS is still there, like a gentle kiss from Poseidon.

Adíosas,
zino

Very fresh opening blast reminds me of talcum powder and citrus. Then lavender & geranium + herbs & oakmoss. A little dated but quite nice!
