Iris Sheep Clouds
"Peccato" is exactly the kind of fragrance that could entice me to make a purchase. Unfortunately, that’s just a hypothetical, as I find the longevity and sillage disappointing.
I smell a warm, but only moderately sweet iris scent with a hint of violet, initially not even particularly powdery, more of a mix between a very subdued lipstick note and a bit of woody, white powderiness.
The special aspect of the fragrance seems to come from the citrus notes, like bergamot and neroli, which make the iris-violet mix very fresh, sunny, airy, and bright.
I see white iris sheep clouds before me and feel the carefree nature of a warm, but not hot, sunny summer day that I spend outdoors.
This would be a top summer fragrance to my taste. A lightly floral, clean scent, moderately warm due to the subtly perceptible base notes, but unfortunately only a whispered powder scent with this friendly, mild citrus freshness that keeps the powder alive and makes it reminiscent of Guerlain's "Liu" in the initial phases.
Unfortunately, the fragrance only provides me with a brief pleasure. It stays on the skin for about 3-4 hours, but after a maximum of half an hour, it seems to have disappeared.
Although it hasn't, sometimes a faint whiff of the scent reaches my nose, but it presents itself so extremely close to the skin and quietly that I can only catch a whiff with the utmost effort and concentration.
After 1-2 hours, only a hint of slightly woody iris powder remains, more comparable to the trace of scent that lingers on the skin after showering with an iris shower gel.
Spicy elements, like the listed cardamom or even the patchouli, I do not perceive at all.
Conclusion: The fragrance delights me; I can recommend it to anyone looking for a soft and intimate scent companion and who enjoys powdery fragrances.
