I am not proficient in Italian, so I would like to thank the lovely Water Lily for her kind translation of Trama Nera.
I perceive the scent as having a dark undertone - indeed, like a seven-tailed cat.
The leather scent hits like a whip.
Strangely, leather is not listed at all, yet it immediately rises to my nose.
I generally like leather scents, but only when they are glove-soft.
This one is oddly hard and dominant.
The iris root adds a dark bitterness.
The jasmine and lilac lighten the gloomy mood a bit, but they do not brighten the scent - it is just a faint glow.
A smoky cedar scent quickly lays over it, which does not exactly contribute to its friendliness.
For me, the scent is too masculine, but on a man, like an adventurous biker type, I could see it being appealing.
