Heavenly Day in the Dark Forest
Alone I wander through the forest, on a heavenly day.
The devil mocks from below.
Deep, from the damp earth, he prays for gray misery.
It pains him hopelessly that I feel good in the dark forest,
with azure blue sky.
Between me and the sky, only Norne stands.
I love being alone in this forest.
Enjoying my heavenly day.
Tears and bad thoughts are dried by the warm wind.
I push all dark clouds aside, gliding through the morning fog. Towards the heavenly day.
The birds chirp in rhythm.
Crickets chirp in the distance, I can almost hear the grass singing.
Smoke mingles with the fog, enveloping spirit and body.
I retreat, to rest. To absolute satisfaction.
Bees make their rounds, I see them as yellow dots in the sky.
Plants bloom even in the shade, which no longer makes the devil laugh.
He is not alone, in this dark forest. That’s what he would love.
If it were up to him, everything would be black and gray. Silent and deaf.
But this forest is alive, with its countless creatures.
It creaks here and there. Everything blooms so green.
Smells of forest. Nature. Of absolute harmony.
It is absolutely enough to feel so much happiness, to climb the blue sky from the dark forest.
_______
I’m not really into green scents, but what Slumberhouse offers here is an absolute pleasure. The dark forest with azure blue sky. Deep, grounded. Man and nature connected. The only thing that is surprising here is the longevity. It is actually monstrous with almost all Slumberhouse fragrances. Here it is noticeably more restrained.
