Scent Memory

This perfume brings me back to the steps at the back of the Palace of Versailles when I walked past the orange blossoms and smelled them for the first time ever. I’ve been obsessed with finding that scent ever since, this is it. I wear this everyday in the summer! It lasts all day, the scent settles in wonderfully and I find myself smelly my wrists throughout the day when I get stressed and it instantly calms me down. This scent will never NOT be part of my collection. Plus you can’t beat the price!

Pleasant, but not photorealistic

I'm an orange blossom snob, and unfortunately this is not a true photorealistic "single note orange blossom" like the name/line suggests. To me, it's

- Opening: very sharp green + bitter neroli
- Middle: "perfume-y" orange blossom (like a mix of hair spray with orange blossom)
- Dry down: powdery hair spray and orange blossom; soft, feminine, very similar to the DNA of "White Shoulders"

Still lovely, but not for me personally - as it's not photorealistic to the blossoms I grew up with. If you're not an orange blossom snob, then you might still enjoy this - especially when it's very affordable for the bottle!
