Oud Vert Intense - Simple, straightforward, gorgeous.
Simple, straightforward, gorgeous. I am appreciating it more and more. Soft, elegant, masculine evolution. Suitable for every day, always maintaining its elegance, but also youth. What appears here is a medicinal aspect as it begins, then a few flowers come out along with the bergamot and cardamom. Little oud, but he is there. Afterwards, you can find great, smoky vetiver, driftwood and some moss. Perfume that smells of quality and beauty. I love it

A longlasting, natural-smelling green masculine
Fresh and sharp, Oud Vert leaves us in no doubt as to the gender of its intended audience – no ‘wimmen’ allowed here, bud! The verdant sourness of bergamot leads the charge, given an almost animalic underbelly by way of freshly-peeled ginger root. The ginger means the opening runs perilously close to functional product territory but manages (just in time) to sidestep the reference by quickly burying the ginger in the minty wetness of geranium leaf.

The drydown, despite the numerous exotic spices listed, stays close to the aromatic citrus character set in motion by the opening. Overall, this is a bright, muscular citrus fragrance, with only a brief nod at the woodiness of oud or vetiver in the base and even then in the most oblique manner possible.

Those looking for a strong ‘oudy’ element may look elsewhere. But Oud Vert may prove to be the answer to that eternal question: where can I find a long-lasting citrus masculine for summer that doesn’t smell chemical and that doesn’t disappear into the ether within ten minutes? Of course, Oud Vert is not the answer if there is a budget cap. But if it is an open-ended query and your wallet is endlessly thick, there is no reason why this should not be choice number one or two on your list.

Rich with the fun nostalgia to it
Rich joyful opening, juicy, mature, get the sweet ripe Citrus, solid, personally get a candy like accord that stays around 30 min in the early mid. Cozy slight sweet from the get go, not at all bitter on skin, get the bitter and spices bundle on paper though, with the earthy greenery and freshness, real considerable difference. Smooth yet dense, sophisticated, definitely higher concentration, so far, three days in don't get the base woody notes, Musk and Vetiver too strong, but rather a warm incredibly cozy accord built in the mid and long lasting drydown. Brings home so well, not entirely sure why, incredibly memorable, charming, all purpose but will turn it into a special occasion for sure.

Balanced, beautifully green Oriental
Compared to its rather pale blue brother ("Oud Bleu Intense"), the also monstrously expensive green oud fragrance, which even puts Amouage to shame in terms of purchase price, has become an exceptionally charismatic, beautiful, and radiant olfactory delight.

The fragrance achieves a very nice balance between green jungle, vibrant South Sea, and finely spiced Oriental nuances, with a bergamot-fresh, green, and subtly bitter liveliness initially dominating, enhanced by cardamom and coriander.

A bit of jungle feeling, likely also due to the noble and well-measured vetiver. Extremely well-balanced, very naturally crafted. Moreover - and this is rather rare in the niche sector - it is very suitable for everyday wear and easy to carry, without overwhelming the senses like a half-empty subway.

As it develops, it partially leaves the jungle, although the oud here plays more of a supporting role, producing only a slight sweet-woody background hum.

Without a doubt, an elegant, well-composed, individually designed fragrance. Only becoming a bit shallow in the drydown.

Beautiful scent, but definitely not worth the price
Oud Vert Intense is another fragrance that was never really a test candidate for me. I came across this sample through a purchase in the Souk. Before writing this review, I knew nothing about this perfume.

Oud Vert Intense is a beautiful fresh scent with vetiver, cedar, ginger, cardamom, and a hint of rose geranium, surrounded by a gentle oud note. Oud Vert Intense is definitely interesting and I like it, but unfortunately, the spark doesn't ignite and the similarity to Cartier Déclaration is simply too great. Cartier just doesn't have an oud note and is therefore somewhat different. Unfortunately, the similarity is a bit too pronounced for me. The oud note increasingly gains influence after just over 3 hours, which I find a nice transition from rather fresh to something softly oriental.

The longevity is very good here; I could smell Oud Vert Intense for over 10 hours and the sillage is about 5-6 hours at arm's length before it quickly becomes close to the skin.

Unfortunately, I dared to look up the price. That was not a good idea; I could almost feel myself falling off my chair in shock. Over €500 for 100 ml seems completely excessive and cheeky to me, as the scent is never worth that much and there is a great alternative available. I simply cannot close my eyes and say I don't care, because such a price really brings very high expectations for me, but Oud Vert Intense cannot meet them, and in this case, it is not entirely possible for me to exclude the price from my assessment and deduct a point from the fragrance for this reason.

I love the smooth fresh opening with bergamot, ginger and geranium. Afterwards, a green and spicy vetiver with a hint of cedar and musk.

A rather dry and clean, yet fresh and green spicy-woody Summer fragrance, balanced by an uplifting and juicy spicy-citric opening. Masculine

Green cola, into a soapy yet classy base. Possesses longevity. Along with the Violet one (sans such longevity), my favourite from this line.

Wood and spice find their balance, with hints of geranium peeking through to add a floral lift. Oud is very subtle.

High-priced green scent with slightly bitter nuances, but also grassy with a generic shower gel aroma. Later with floral-dry woody notes.

If the bergamot and rose geranium notes were stronger and could cover the spicy oriental tones, it would be even better.
