Fruits in the tin bucket
It starts with the blast of ripe red apples cut and thrown to the tin bucket. As I develops, the herbal part becomes more prominent, with tomato leaves and thyme playing the leading role. I wanted to get more basil, but no, it's not there. Generally, it's quite inoffensive fresh fruity-green scent with a bit of metal in it, office friendly and probably better suited for spring when it's getting warm, but not yet too hot.

Machines vs. Nature
The Blood Concept Type A is a green, natural goodness mixed with a weird metallic note. There is something odd about this combination. It is like those two are in conflict. At first the scent is natural, green and tender but then the metallic note slowly creeps into this scent and overpowers it completely. It is like the nature is desperately trying to survive the metal grips of human civilization and it loses the battle. I don’t think that this is what the creators of this scent had in mind but this is how it smells to me.

Overall the composition is not bad but it does not work well for me. I like the opening a lot as it smells natural, herbal, green and fresh. I normally dislike basil and tomato leaf but they are nice and fresh here. It smells like summer morning in the garden. And then this metallic scent appears and it is just creepy here. It is not as futuristic as in Type AB but still it is evil. Why does it try to kill the green goodness? In the end, it completely takes over and I am left with a strange, artificial metal scent with generic green accent which no longer smells like nature.

The sillage is nice. The longevity is average. This was an interesting concept but not as daring as AB and not as wearable as B or O.

The Golden Glove

Admittedly, after testing the fragrances from Blood Concept, you have certain ideas or fantasies about what you associate with these scents. The eye, as they say, also eats, and we are often guided by names. It does something to us when we read "Blood," for example, or something less extravagant like "Holy," etc. Certain things simply create a scenario. Or rather, a picture. Often just unconsciously. You surely know what I mean.

I know several Blood Concept fragrances. Admittedly, they are all very special, often having this peculiar metallic note - chlorine, damp air, which often plays a role. Occasionally a bit of green, but it leans more towards the metal (chemical) faction, disinfection, and unfortunately also not very pleasant associations, like blood-soaked rags (see AB).

No fragrance from BC has been able to touch or excite me. However, it is interesting to engage with them, as everyday scents are really something different. I have always felt a dislike towards these, as they simply do not present good images to me, and they often just smell chemically, which I really do not like to wear on my skin. Not to mention the thought games that come with it.

Recently, I watched the film "The Golden Glove." I also devoured the book. I tend to very strongly visualize everything in my head when I see or read certain scenes, and I feel as if I am a live observer. I weave my own world together, including smells of all kinds. Since I come from the care and social sector and have smelled quite a bit already, and I am really only disgusted by a few things, there are indeed some hybrids of smells that come together. Some are really not quite kosher, and some almost knock me off my feet.

Blood Group A from Blood Concept is no different from its other blood group siblings. It is again very metallic, everything is built up. The scent feels very damp and extremely moldy. Along with a stuffy note of sharp greenery in a barely ventilated room, which desperately tries to mix in here. It is a jumble of half-ripe fruits and cold sweat that then settles in. The scent would fit perfectly into the scene of the film "The Golden Glove," where countless air fresheners hang to mask the probably bestial smell that has permeated the small attic apartment. I hit pause and rummaged through my sample box. Blood Concept immediately shot to my mind, especially this weird herbal note that this scent carries, with a slight sweetness that almost evaporates into nothingness, would fit right in. Perfect nightmare scenario for all olfactory cells, you must be thinking? Yes, it is indeed strange, but not extremely so. It is, for me, an air freshener scent whose name I do not know, or I can't recall the exact designation, but it is so piercing, chemical, mixed with disinfectant, that it becomes really unpleasant, especially because there is a slightly sour, sweaty note hanging over it.

The scent maintains some sort of stuffiness, a false sense of a perfect world, stretched in the background with high-proof alcohol and the depths of the human soul. It is not bestial, nor is it extremely overwhelming. It is simply unpleasant, masks a lot, and is a bit annoying with its peculiarity, especially regarding the greenery.

The longevity is quite okay, but you are still glad when you can indulge in other scents.

Very helpful Review 15
Metallic Insalata Caprese - to bite into?
I saw the so-called Compatibility Set from Blood Concept at a 50 percent discount. I've heard quite a bit about this crazy Italian niche label, but I hadn't been able to try it yet. Due to the lack of testers and my spontaneous excitement at the fact that I could buy 4 times 10 ml of perfume extrait in a pretty wild pipette bottle, I just took this set with me. I'm now too lazy to write an additional review for 0, B, and AB, so here's just a brief overview:

0: Raspberry - nail polish remover, develops into a suit made of metal and leather - unbearable for me.

B: Tipsy cherry - cough drops, develops into peppery firewood - surprise: I like it!

AB: God in heaven, sooo disgusting, I had to gag! Like scouring cream on a dirty metal operating table. Please add the sounds of steel wool on metal! Shudder! Goosebumps, ugh. I couldn't stand the smell for long, it doesn't develop at all and sticks like Pattex.
Now to A, which I will elaborate on: This one is described as green, aromatic, and clean. You can tell that this is indeed the softest of the four. And how does it smell? As mentioned in the title: Like Insalata Caprese! Yes, exactly, mozzarella with tomatoes and basil. And a hint of herbs de Provence on top - yummy, perfect for the weather, lunch in the sun... you can exclude the mozzarella from the scent, as it is odorless anyway. But I swear to you, this "perfume" really smells like the famous Italian antipasti! And it smells like a huge portion, because you can't finish it and wrap the rest in a piece of aluminum foil. Crazy!

Would I wear it? No, I miss a hint of fruit, wood, "perfumy"...
But hey, I know what you can use it for: Scenting a fruit and vegetable shop! Because it is "mouthwatering" :-D

Do I regret buying this set? Definitely not. Because as a party gag, this thing is a hit. Just the name "Blood Concept" makes most of my friends, who are used to my perfume choices, shudder. The metallic notes are indeed omnipresent! Everyone should try it... it's really fun with friends!

And I also found a use for AB: If someone is behaving badly - just sprinkle a few drops of it in their hair! They'll run around screaming for days! MUHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

I really like Tomato Leaf, here with a herbal green note and a bit of the brand's typical metallic undertone.

This is such a nasty & shrill metallic-artificial-fruity scent that even Chuck Norris would surrender.
Only for fetishes...

Metallic greens with fruit. Who comes up with this for whom? Good that tastes differ. For me, absolutely unbearable.

Doesn't smell bad - metallic, herbal, and green.
I still wouldn't wear it. I consider it more of an art piece.

I'll put it this way - very unique ~ metallic - verdigris - with a hint of anise & tomato stems ~ not something I necessarily need!
