Vanilla Flash Tauerville 2015

Vanilla, tobacco and rose are very balanced in this. At times I barely smell any tobacco, but lots of rose, and then another time it's the other way round. Vanilla is always noticeable, but doesn't smother the other notes. It's very warm and sweet, but in a dark way, not overly gourmand.
There is a slight waxiness to the scent that makes me understand the comparison to TF Tobacco Vanille that this gets around the web, but in the end I don't think they're that similar to each other. Cousins at best. TV is quite aromatic and masculine leaning to my nose, in Vanilla Flash there are some herbal notes in the first minute, and that's it. The overall scent is perfectly unisex, the thick, jammy rose is even a bit feminine to me (which might be because I'm a woman and like it on myself), but I think it would smell nice on men, too. A touch of cinnamon-like spices and earthy patch ground the sweeter noted without making in scratchy.

Out of the 4 Tauerville Flash fragrances I tried (this, Rose, Tuberose and Fruitchouli) this is the softest, coziest, least loud, but it's still quite present. In my opinion this is purely an autumn/winter scent, it's very warming and just doesn't fit in with a summery mood.
