Bothanicals and Woody Sandalwood

"A fragrance exclusively made with all-Australian native ingredients including:- West Australian Sandalwood, Tasmanian Boronia absolute, Red Desert Rosewood from Far North Queensland, Blue Cypress from the Tiwi islands, Honey Myrtle from South Australia and Nerolina from New South Wales ". What else can i add to this brief description from the brand? this might be so far my favourite from the house, and trust me i've smelled many of them already

Green, oily, balsamic, medicinal woodyness..ever so slightly citrusy and honey-sweet. What Teone has accomplished here is remarkable: i've never been to Australia but i get the transportative experience. Did i also mentioned it has a whole lot of Sandalwood in it?

The Waves of Reality

How full of wonders this world was, how far sometimes from reality, how mysterious the waves of reality. Munro could not take his eyes off, so surreal was this spectacle. There was the shadowy silhouette of a gnarled tree in an endless plain, depicted on a sheet of paper, and Munro sat in awe like a child before it, watching as the roots grew, smelling of pearly and somewhat earthy scents, meandering over the damp clay soil and soon glowing luminescent. Reality had turned off the white light, and so Munro could even see the ethereal aura of the roots, pulsing like the Northern Lights, crackling in cool camphor tones, hissing in citrus-fresh colors, sometimes minty and medicinal, sometimes ice-blue eucalyptus.
After a while, whitish droplets grew everywhere on the wonder roots, tumbling over the clay soil as if they were drunk from citrus ice and smelling of milky sharp resin. What are they doing? Munro asked the tree in the picture. They are making pictures in your head! said the tree. They turn me into clay and roots, flowers into eucalyptus lemons, sandalwood into mint milk and later into balm, warm and creamy. Ooohhh! murmured Munro. So that's how it is! And yet he did not understand it. It did not matter, for it was wondrous.

"Sacred Ground" plays, like many fragrances from the house, skillfully with the harmonious effect of opposites. It begins with the citrus-fresh, camphor-like medicinal notes of Boronia and eucalyptus-cool myrtle on clay-rooted oud. A minimal animalic note is only subtly perceptible. In the heart, the fresh, slightly sharp wood-glue-like note of sandalwood joins in, becoming increasingly balsamic-creamy in the fade-out. The waves of reality last a good eight hours moderately.
