With this fragrance, I'm certainly thinking of the Amalfi Coast: blue waters, winding roads, steep cliffs, cities carved into the slopes of the hills. When the citrus fruits fade, flowers come through and remind me of Fleur de Portofino.

Why your first impressions are often wrong...
I am a big fan of John Varvatos' work, and Artisan Pure is a major reason for that.
At the first approach Artisan Pure actually doesn't smell very good to me - it opens with unbalanced and much too strong notes of marjoram...
