Oud Wood Odyssey
Oud Wood was my entry into the world of fragrances, like many others here.
Of course I had 0815 water like One Million or something like that lying around at home before but that is a different world in my eyes.
I was allowed to smell Oud Wood for the first time in a club in Munich and was obsessed by the smell from second 1. It has to be said that I didn't even know it was OW because the person wearing the perfume only passed me for a short time and I didn't have time to ask.
After the evening, my mission was clear: I had to find out which fragrance it was and buy it as soon as possible. In the following week I spent valuable vacation days in Valencia to search for this fragrance in several perfumeries. When I finally held this treasure in my hands after a long search, the joy was great.
Oud Wood is unmistakable to me and I recognized him immediately.
I am now the proud owner of a 100ml bottle and will never give it back
The fragrance is a wonderfully rounded mix of oud, sandalwood, cardamom, tonka and amber I can only guess at individual notes, as none really stands out but was perfectly mixed to a round fragrance. In my eyes OW is not a unisex but a men's fragrance for men over 22 years. It is best to wear proper clothes with this fragrance, because it simply looks super noble and self-confident. I would not wear OW for shopping or to the gym. The scent is still noticeable on my skin after 8 hours and projects quite neatly.
All men who like to dress up to spend an evening in a nice bar or club should definitely try this woody masterpiece.
