If I have to pick one rose ambergris fragrance for life, you’ll see 5 tola Rose Ambra in my collection!
Opening on to a green, intense, bitter opening of Gulab, the gears are shifted to sweet, citrus, romantic rose with some spicy elements in the background - an earthy tone of spices, some hints of pepper and a green musky tone of cardamom.
The Gulab with elaichi and saffron feels like sipping on a cup of tea made with these elements on a rainy day.
A salty ambergris romancing with the rose on a bed of Oudh are very elegantly holding hands together. Here ambergris become dominant while roses are suppressed.
As it grows, a very vibrant Gulab which had gone down starts to mark its presence once again with Ambergris taking a back seat and Oudh playing a supportive role in this journey.
The prominent presence of oudh is felt after an hour where it tries to join the party with ambergris providing a leathery accord and elements of hayish tone to it.
But the stars of the show are the ‘Jodi’ of Rose and Ambergris - WHAT A DEAD GORGEOUS COMBINATION and a match made in heaven for sure! An elegant, sweet, slightly boozy Rose dancing along salty ambergris.
