A short burst

This scent creates a short refreshing burst of summer-time scent, but quickly fades. While you have it on tho the sillage and projection is insane. You can definitely overdo it and accidentally end up filling up a room if you go heavy. Just cuz it's Eau de Cologne does not mean it's potency should be underestimated. When oversprayed it smells kind of syrupy, like a blue razzberry flavored juice. But when sprayed lightly and tastefully it can be a nice fresh statement scent before you walk into somewhere.

Tommy Bahama take on Fierce

Maritime Journey gave me a surprise at the first spritz. I got a slightly fruity, slightly sweet version of Fierce or Legend EdP or Skulls & Roses. Sorta the beachy/tropical version of those fragrances. Different than those three, Journey seemed more synthetic, especially in the dry down. Less woody at that point as well. Overall, a pleasant take on that kind of scent.

Performance is significantly weaker than the last two I mentioned, but remember this is a cologne ( as is Fierce). I have Journey in a tiny bottle, but would never buy it again. Rather, I'd just go with Legend EdP or Skulls & Roses.
