			Dove Soap to Spray On

										Kleos Musk Series Part 22
This sample, which spent a long time at the bottom of my sample box after a brief test, I owe to dear Dobbs (you’ve probably long forgotten, but good record-keeping is everything ;). And although it is not directly labeled as a musk fragrance, it comes into my series because it develops very musky on me.
Since I have just recovered from being ill, I wasn’t in the mood for a proper perfume, so I dug out Tova again and sprayed it on my arm for testing. At my most frequently uttered request, “Smell this!” Marcus Antonius - my beloved - raised his eyebrows in surprise and declared, “Oh, that smells good!” Oh really? Normally, he can’t stand soapy scents at all, and this one IS soapy, but in a big way!
Nevertheless, this comment motivated me to do a full-body test the next day. For me, there is almost no scent development. Luckily, nothing develops synthetically or sharply on me either. I mainly smell strong musk (which I like!) and a lot of soap (which I don’t like!). To me, Tova Signature Platinum smells like very musky soap. Like Dove to spray on with musk. However, what was very remarkable for me was the longevity: Sprayed on in the morning, I could still perceive it late in the evening (!)
With this scent, a woman feels clean, no question about it, and all day long. It probably doesn’t clash anywhere either. But for me, it’s way too soapy; it constantly feels like I’ve bitten into a bar of soap, so much so that it almost foams out of my mouth… This is, however, a fundamental issue for me regarding soapy scents, which is why it can happily receive its 70 percent. It deserves that just for the longevity and the musk.
