English Country Garden
What a delightful array of beautiful scents one finds in an "English Country Garden" or a "Cottage Garden"! And fans of berries and citrus fruits will also get their share.
Not to mention the floral balms! Here you have white jasmine, herbal lavender, a hint of iris, and also violets along with their leaves. Roots and stems.
A lot of cheerful greenery and the scent of a summer meadow. The resinous, woody bark of old deciduous trees and the fresh sap of birches. One can even catch a whiff of mirabelles, which ripen early. Sweet, but not sticky: strawberries and raspberries.
A fragrance from a shopping channel, not available in "regular" perfumeries, was ordered by a neighbor of mine. In her enthusiasm, she also ended up with three or four perfumes in duplicate, which she later realized and generously passed on to me as a confessed scent fan at a bargain price.
Among them is the "Turquoise". It has a bit of Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette, but is somewhat finer and more elegant. And "turquoise" because it combines several "fragrance colors" in shades of green and blue. And the timbre of the perfume remains bright and clear despite its fullness.
It is the art of presenting a fragrance without it ever becoming "too much" ;-))
