Smell spring and smile

Don't forget that a quick sniff from a perfume bottle can determine your mood for the next hours. If you're a sucker for spring-fragrances, give "Muguet en fleurs" a try. This simple soliflore is guaranteed to put a smile on your face (provided you like lily-of-the-valley). This pretty floral scent takes me back to a joyful day in spring... with lily-of-the-valley in full bloom, of course.
Lasting power is poor, but given the low price, I won't complain. The best scent from the "Un Martin au Jardin" range so far.

True Muguet

You can't go wrong with YR's Muguet en Fleurs if you like lily of the valley. For me, it was a beginner's scent as it goes for the note, since I couldn't tolerate it for years. I've started loving lily of the valley pretty much with this simple yet successful EDT which I also recommend to anyone who likes non-sweet, green, fresh florals.

That's pretty much a soliflore scent truly value for the money. Longevity and sillage is justs as what's supposed to be (more than a cologne but less than an EDT) since the gist of Muguet is lightness and spring.

Concerto Grosso in the garden

For weeks the husband and I cough at each other - which is extremely tiring.

The husband threw it into the bag because he likes lily of the valley and the picture on the cartouche is too seductive.

I spray carefully, because lilies of the valley are not always pleasant for me.
Often, a stuffy, nasty leg note spoils my pleasure.

But - hoppla - this lily of the valley is green, white and fresh from the garden.
The juicy stems spread green freshness and the white bells even ring sweetly.
May they summon warm May.

But in such a positive mood, I slip into my fake fur, put on my bobble hat - and go foolhardy into the garden.
May the February sun shower me with vitamins.

Nevertheless a tinny Öchö Öchö escapes me - which is answered by the neighbouring garden with Buchu Buchu.

In the middle of a dewy garden

Why this fragrance?
This fragrance enjoys an exceptional position in my collection - it is the only eau de toilette and also one of the few fresh fragrances that I own.
How did it come to this? Well, I gave a bottle of this eau de toilette to my mom when she was visiting me and we were shopping together. In her youth, she was very fond of wearing a lily of the valley perfume and wanted to reminisce a bit.
A few months after she left, I stumbled upon a Yves Rocher store while shopping and... picked up a green bottle myself! Somehow, it made me feel closer to my mum.
Fragrance impression?
I agree with most reviewers - the scent is not overly floral, but rather green, although I can clearly perceive lily of the valley. The start is very slightly citrusy (which I personally find good, because I usually do not like citrus, it often seems somehow artificial and pungent) and swings relatively quickly into the green, which I like very much. Green notes and lily of the valley form a magical duet that lingers for a relatively long time. At no point do I feel the scent soapy or pungent.
Flacon?
The flacon I find very appealing: rather minimalist, but still with beautifully rounded edges. The bright emerald green is a fantastic match for the fragrance theme, as is the relief of curved leaves on the front of the bottle.
H&S?
The longevity is quite good for an eau de toilette - it lasts 5-6 hours on me. Sillage is also okay, but rather moderate.
Conclusion
The fragrance is a nice bright green freshness, which can be worn preferably in the spring and summer. No fragrance for great appearances, but a decidedly pleasant companion for casual occasions, which smells not expensive, but just not cheap in any case.

Lovely fresh lily of the valley

Since yesterday I have been wearing this beautiful scented muguet en fleurs from Yves Rocher's "Um matin au jardin" series. It's been years since I wore that last time.
But since Yves Rocher has just released a lot of new fragrances - I'm still sceptical if there's anything for me - and many old ones had to go for it - I got out my 100ml bottle and sprayed it on.
If I remember correctly I bought this flowery fragrance right after its launch in 2013 or 2014 at the latest. together with the rose fragrance of this series.
I was looking for a fresh fragrance that was suitable for everyday life and work. And you can get a fresh scent here too.
The fragrance is rather simple knitted and does not go through a great development.
I smell here mainly lilies of the valley and another jasmine-like flowery note. The scent reminds me a lot of Diorissimo, only it's lighter. So the fragrance should appeal especially to those who like diorissimo, but are looking for something lighter every day.
The fragrance is very beautiful and well done in itself, only it could last a little longer The bottle is kept rather simple, but it also matches the fragrance.
I also bought a second reserve bottle a few years ago. Now that it's being stamped, I'm glad I made provision in time.
