Vibes of ..Ice Cream
That is the first thing that came to mind when I think of Voluspa Macaron.
There is a (perceived-and by me ) lactone/milky note that I'm always bother with at first.
But I ignore it due to the nice creamy vanilla almond essence that follows
(BTW, I'm not a big fan of ice cream or milk. Now, pastries, that's another story.)
This has been discontinue and is now hard to find in 2023.(I picked it up in 2021)
I also picked up Lancôme Iris Dragee at the same time which is also discontinued and hard to find. Macarons shares similarity to that, Guerlain Apres L'Ondee, Comptoir Sud Pacifique Amande Eclats.
Beautifully sugary! Beautifully Powdery! Beautifully sweet!
...And it was at the time when Voluspa packaging for their fragrances was next to none. It came in a cute decorative cylinder box. And all under 30 bucks.
