Smells like celery on me
I love many of Atelier’s citrus scents, but every once in a while they turn on me. This, unfortunately, is one of those. Must be my skin chemistry, but I too get that celery note. It’s the oddest thing. On paper it smells like citrus, and on my skin...celery. I got this one as a travel size (7 mL) in a discovery box, so I gave it to a friend and it smelled nice on her. I’m glad it didn’t go to waste, but still mystified as to what note was going so wrong on my skin.

Soup pot instead of Hesperid freshness
Top note lovage. Are you serious? Soup pot instead of Hesperid freshness. Curious start. Later, the soup seasoning changes into the ginger note already mentioned in some statements and only after an hour comes a hint of glacier freshness that has nothing citrus about it. Then I smell the wonderful aroma of mandarin peel, real mandarins with many, many seeds like you can hardly get them in the flood of seedless and tasteless clementines and satsumas. This scent reconciles me a little. Too bad he's so fugitive.

I get orange rind and pepper. Savoury citrus rather than sweet
