Screaming citrus candy!

A tart, bitter grapefruit opening, blended with amber and vetiver. Although I’m not a fan of amber, it seems to blend well enough with the citrus. Reminds me of Lime Basil & Mandarin by Jo Malone, only not as fruity, but more shrill, if that makes sense. Overall, definitely a summer fragrance. Not bad, but certainly not my favorite from Atelier Cologne.

So uplifting!

This is my number one favorite 'simple' citrus fragrance of all time. It is so simple, yet so beautiful and uplifting. The grapefruit is apparent but it is red - I know this sounds weird, perhaps just think of grapefruit and mandarins. A sweet and juicy scent that will just lift up your mood. It is linear throughout the scent, which for me, is perfect - because I love the opening!

But let's be real. This is not a big performer when it comes to longevity. Grab a decant with you (or the bottle) and respray throughout the day and you will experience the very uplifting characters of the scents several times a day. The people next to you definitely won't mind as this is very mass appealing and acceptable to use anywhere.

I'm a guy at 25 years of age and very happy with my 200ml bottle. It is very unisex, but I do believe that more women wear this type of scent than guys. This is different from typical mens citrusses, while still being perfectly wearable for both genders.

The pomelo in this is not juicy and zesty. It reminds me too much of the cleaning products and bathroom fresheners. There are better fragrances with a pomelo or grapefruit note than Pomelo Paradis. Longevity is poor, but that's normal for citrusy perfumes.

If you want a zesty sparkly grapefruit, I recommend sampling Dom Rosa from Les Liquides Imaginaires.

Best of both (citrus) worlds

Another fantastic citrus from Atelier Cologne. This is probably my favorite of the ones I’ve tried, though only by a thin margin. It’s a juicy, slightly sweet, slightly tart pomelo that lasts for hours and hours. Compared to Clementine California, it’s a bit less fresh and floral. Compared to Orange Sanguine, it’s a bit less tart and juicy. It fits right in the middle of the two, the best of both worlds.

Simple, fruity, summery.

A surprisingly strong and authentic scent of pink grapefruit and blackcurrant. It's a pleasant, fresh and simple summer fragrance. It's one of the better ones from this house, although a bit too sweet for my taste. It reminds me of those body sprays from the drugstore I used to wear in college.
