Winter Walk

Norrland is a region in Sweden with a defining timber industry. That is exactly what the scent conveys. It reminds me of rustic forests. Of a winter walk through the spruce woods. The grapefruit brings an incredible freshness to the fragrance. Just like when you breathe in very cool, fresh air.
As soon as you spray it on, citrus floods the nose. Bergamot? Grapefruit? A hint of lemon?

Even in the heart, the enormous freshness persists before vetiver joins in. A sweet root that, however, comes from a completely different corner. Originally from Asia, it has a wide range of applications. Aromatherapy and perfume making are one side, while natural healing is the other. When applied to the skin, it provides moisture and keeps moths away.

For me, Norrland is an everyday scent, neither more nor less. It is very masculine and conveys strength and self-confidence. Well-suited for shopping in the city, meeting friends, just everyday activities. Longevity and sillage are satisfactory. However, the bottle looks somewhat cheap. The label with the inscription was surely created in a minute in Microsoft Word. Very uninspired. The wooden cap is a nice change and fits with the Nordic flair that the perfume radiates. But somehow it doesn’t quite match the glass bottle and seems oddly out of place.
