My God, what was going on?!

Not at all - that was an experience!
The dear gentleman sprayed the Atractivo Wood Extrait de Parfum as a second scent on a test strip, and I was already in seventh heaven. However, I was just as confused because this first impression was immediately perfect! It happened so quickly.
He sprayed it on a test strip - I wanted it directly on my arm. I mean the scent, not the salesperson. Smelling it on the skin - wow!!! A sparkling sweet start, but immediately woody leather notes come through. The special thing for me was that it was instantly unisex - the sweetness not too feminine and the leather not too masculine.
So, now I had this masterful work of art on my arm. The journey continues. So many great scents on the test strip.
But I had to keep smelling my arm - the leather is present, yet with this wonderful sweet base. Cotton candy, say the notes, and also the dear salesperson. Fits. Plus the sparkling red pepper. Cinnamon gives a special spiciness.
Today it was 24 degrees, and I wore it despite the cinnamon and cotton candy. The leather note is just soooo brilliant and delicious. I can't get enough of the scent.
The sandalwood in the base is to die for. I'm also wearing it in my hair today, and this sandal-cinnamon note with every gust of wind is magical!
We stayed in the store for about three-quarters of an hour. To be honest, it quickly became clear to me that this leather-sandalwood masterpiece had to come home with me. Said and done. Big bottle, please bring it on.
