The founder and perfumer of the Abdolito brand is Syrian-born Abdulrazzak Abdulrazzak, who opened his own perfumery in Leiden, a city in the Dutch province of South Holland, in June 2023.

Abdulrazzak's interest in scents and the possibilities of fragrance extraction began in his youth and was encouraged by a perfumer living in his neighborhood.

Fascinated by fragrances, compositions, and accords, Abdulrazzak traveled to numerous countries, some of them far away, to deepen his training with various perfumers and expand his knowledge of ingredients, distillation techniques, maceration, and the art of blending.

After the beginning of the war in his homeland of Syria, Abdulrazzak fled to the Netherlands, where he initially worked as a fragrance consultant for various companies in order to establish a financial foundation for his future endeavors.

His deep connection to Dutch culture and way of life had a lasting impact on Abdulrazzak. Always striving to combine the cultural influences of his native Syria with those of the Netherlands in his fragrance creations, he launched the Extrait de Parfum Emata in 2023 as part of the Luxury Esencia de la Vida Collection. The illustration on the bottle depicts the Norias of Hama – a series of the largest water wheels on the Orontes River in the Syrian city of Hama.
