White Peach on Freshly Washed Laundry
Valaya fans, take note, Avapari has certainly taken some good inspiration, yet for my taste, it’s a distinct fragrance. This peach is still a bit green behind the ears. For me, the heart notes, especially lily of the valley and aldehydes in the top note, don’t come through very clearly (I somehow always have my #NR Radiante in my nose). Strangely, I first perceive the vetiver, then this clean note follows with a white peach. Amara is not as linear and "simply constructed" as Valaya. Here we have green and citrus notes. Due to the mahonia, it even briefly heads in the direction of Mystique Bouquet for me. DD white peach and lily of the valley. Powdery clean fruity green, fresh laundry vibes a la Byredo Blanche. In conclusion, I personally didn’t really like the opening, but Amara develops into a compliment getter without a synthetically piercing clean note.
