A friend of mine asked me the first time I met the Rum & Spice if I was wearing Initio Side Effect, only to correct himself and say that this scent smelled much better than Initio, much rounder but also deeper.
"Is that Side Effect" - my best friend asked me one summer evening in the parking lot in front of his house.
"No, not Side Effect, it's something else. It smells much better than Side Effect" - he immediately corrected himself.
I just smiled and was very proud of this purchase.
With some dupes, you get the feeling that if you're wearing a copy of something, you're a copy yourself, not confident, not special.
With Rum and Spice, on the other hand, you feel like self-confidence personified. This spice brings such depth and complexity to the fragrance, while the sweetness rounds it off.
Definitely worth its 60€!
