Salty Being Frenshe 2024 Hair & Body Mist

its fresh but the opening is rubbery. i found the perfume version to smell exactly like sticking your face into a freshly polished pair of mens dress shoes. it has a weird glossy magazine swimming pool scent as well. imagine walking into mens warehouse and u get to the shoe sections and u smell the rubber soles and shoe polish in the air while u drink water from a melted waterbottle and ur flipping through a glossy magazine with its old perfume stickered pages half open and used.

For $14, this is shockingly beautiful and smells high-quality. It's reminiscent of a fresh summer breeze. To me, Salty smells fresh and clean without being soapy or uninteresting. I get subtle citrus, woodiness, saltiness (of course), and a bit of clean musk. It's perfect to spray on warmer days where something sweeter or heavier would be nauseating.

This is one of those fragrances that can be incredible on all genders, and for me, it's been a real compliment-getter. Perfect for anywhere from the gym to the club. Sillage is moderate, and it lasts surprisingly long. For me, it lasts 5 to 6 hours. If I want to smell clean, inoffensive, but still slightly interesting, this is what I'll grab.

Based on the notes I thought this would be a simple flat scent, but there's something that's so bright and fresh to me in the opening that it caught me by surprise. And then it dries down into almost a creamy soothing skin scent that feels like a warm protective hug. It's very soft and inoffensive, very unisex, maybe even impossible to overspray.

Their moodscience descriptions in general, imo, are very accurate. My only issue is that for some reason, this scent doesn't last on me at all. Maybe all of 10-15 minutes before it fades. Not sure if this is my own ph issue? The other frenshe scents last on me all day. But you know what, I love this scent so much I'll deal with it and just spritz it all day like nobody's business.

Salty is very strong, woody, and more masculine smelling than the other scents. It creates a bigger scent cloud than most other body sprays and the scent was ultimately not for me. I was expecting it to smell more clean and bright, but it is nice and I would like it on a man. It gives more of the vibes of a men’s deodorant if that makes sense. This was ultimately a let down for me partly because of the hype it received online, but smell it in store if this intrigues you. The rollerball oil would probably be better in this scent because it remains closer to the skin.
