Green-Floral Ruckus
Vacarme means noise, racket, hellish spectacle in French, and this designation is very fitting for this opulent green-floral creation by Madeleine de Rauch.
Vacarme is bursting with galbanum and hyacinth in the top note, additionally, an oily aldehyde complex is clearly recognizable, gently paving the way to the booming heart of jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang. Finally, the green floral storm finds a devoted calm with a beautiful sandalwood-cedar note, which I suspect is rounded off with civet and a leather accord.
Vacarme can occasionally still be found online or in small private perfumeries in the south. In Germany, the De Rauch fragrances have unfortunately never really been popular.
Madame De Rauch made it very simple regarding the bottle choice, using the same container for every fragrance, only the oval labels were designed in different colors, with Vacarme, of course, in GREEN :-)(Belle De Rauch/Yellow, Royal De Rauch/Gold, Miss De Rauch/Red, Monsieur De Rauch/Black, Eau Fraîche De Rauch/Blue)
