So-so
As I already mentioned with "Sweet Ocean | Sultan Of Style," I have succumbed to the rather intrusive marketing campaign here. In the end, I am not particularly taken with this fragrance, but I am not averse to it either. I am somewhat shocked by how poorly it has been rated by the Parfumo community. However, the few written opinions on it are clearly more positive, and I tend to agree with them.
The top note somewhat resembles shower gel but also citrus fruits and bay leaves. In the heart note, I recognize Christmas spices like cinnamon and a hint of rose water. The base is still somewhat green and woody. Here, I can most clearly identify patchouli and a subtle, balsamic amber note.
As a perfume oil, I am rather moderately enthusiastic, also because it does not last particularly long on my skin. However, as a beard oil, it works well and lasts a bit longer, although not the entire night or day.
