Evocative and unique destination fragrance
City Rhythm makes scents to order. When I initially tried it upon delivery, the red wine was overpowering and astringent; after sitting for a few weeks (honestly, I forgot), it has balanced substantially. It's sparkling and vivacious, great for daytime or a date night, likely far less suitable for the office.

Sparkling red wine is prevalent at the open and well into the drydown, the cherry, bitter orange, and pomegranate give a sangria feeling, rich and bright. The chocolate and amber at the end are gentle but quite noticeable and round everything out perfectly, taking the sharp edges from the wine. This is one of the few destination scents I've tried that is actually evocative of the place it's named after. Very well done.

Mossy-Earthy Red Wine
Quite a unique scent.
The fragrance notes promised a light, sparkling scent with fruit, rose, and gourmand notes - but that’s not the case. This doesn’t make it worse - it just didn’t match my expectations.
What is it?
Very strong.
Mossy and earthy. I perceive moss throughout the entire duration, along with a subtle wine note.
Overall, it reminds me of port wine.
I never detect cherry, bitter orange, rose, chocolate, or woods. The scent of pomegranate means nothing to me. Wine - yes - but without an alcoholic note. Just the heaviness, fruity-earthiness of a wine.

But when to wear it?
For everyday use/the office, in my view, it’s simply unsuitable due to the deep earthy tones. For spring/summer, it would generally be too heavy - even for elegant occasions.

On New Year's Eve, due to its uniqueness and the touch of luxury it exudes, it’s great. For a more upscale dinner or the opera/theater in winter, it’s certainly a good choice.

Why this scent is called Barcelona remains completely unclear to me. The carefree, light life, and the warm summers that I associate with Barcelona are the exact opposite of the associations that arise from the scent.

Uff smells like a damp cellar—no trace of fruity notes. I also got this strange note in TSoD Ajyal.

Zesty with a lovely (tart) pomegranate and red wine note, and a sweet, slightly chocolatey base in the dry down
Unique
Doesn't smell like moss

Very elegant mossy earthy (similar to patchouli) chocolate gourmand, you have to want this. Wine and especially rose are strong in the drydown. More for over 40s.

A fruity-spicy scent with notes of red wine, cherry, and chocolate, rounded off with warm woods and amber.

Very interesting scent, starts a bit alcoholic fruity with the red wine and pomegranate, gourmand with the chocolate. Very strong.

Beautiful scent progression, but mostly cherry and red wine in the foreground. Slightly woody in the drydown. Very good sillage.

Weird red wine-moss combo.
The wine is ripe, but maybe I'm not ready for this scent.

I smell red wine, cherry, and moss
The scent is too sharp for summer.
