A beautifully warm, spicy scent for the cold days
Bois Primitif is a beautiful fragrance for the generally colder days of the year. In other words, its time begins right now. This scent is primarily warm, sweet, and spicy. Additionally, it has a really well-suited rose.
So far, it is also my favorite among the fragrances tested from Claudio Zucca.
At the beginning, we have a very slightly fresh component, a mild blueberry, and above all, cinnamon. The cinnamon gives the fragrance, especially in the initial phase, that certain something. However, the cinnamon also lingers quite a while. A type of rose can already be sensed. The rose is truly pleasant and fits well with the other notes.
Furthermore, there is a finely tuned lavender note, but it is kept very subtle. Above all, we simply have this very lightly held bergamot, as well as the pleasant rose and of course the cinnamon.
The more the fragrance dries down, the sweeter and creamier it becomes. Vanilla is now present, as well as what feels like classic tonka bean.
I really assumed that tonka bean was included here.
However, the fragrance pyramid says otherwise. A slight woody note can now also be detected.
The scent is definitely unisex, and the performance is, in my opinion, completely fine to good. The longevity on my skin is about eight hours.
The sillage is milder, but okay.
In any case, I find this fragrance stronger and generally longer-lasting than some others from the same house.
