One of the most beautiful side things in matters of love
How wonderful and fulfilling a flirt is. The language of eyes and body language that signals from a distance to a very specific person 'I like you and it's fun to flirt with you'. No spoken words, no touches, just the language of glances that brings a smile to the lips of both participants. You part ways and the flirt is over, but the emotional world continues to thrive on this beautiful, casual experience.
How do you capture such an experience in a bottle? Well, first the bottle must reflect the nature of the flirt, as well as the label. For a long time, I have been eyeing Ed Pinaud's Flirt. A single bottle with packaging was offered on the bay, but the price far exceeded my budget.
Sometimes waiting pays off, and when I bought a fragrance from a French supplier, they offered me Flirt as a bonus for less than a quarter of the price of the fragrance I had been watching. Now I couldn't say no, and so it moved in with me. I was very curious about what the scent would be like and what impression it would make on me.
The contents of Ed Pinaud's 'Flirt' is indeed a flirt. A flirt with the sunny and fully blossomed spring, when nothing keeps you indoors and the scent penetrates into the homes.
Right from the start, I am greeted by lily of the valley and lilac in lush concentration. The two take turns passing the scent baton and after a few minutes, they also allow other fragrance components to join the flirt. I can perceive musk, patchouli, and various woods, but also something slightly musty and mossy that beautifully engages in the game.
The sillage of this flirt is quite remarkable, and the longevity is okay at about 8 hours. Of course, I filled a spray bottle with 10ml of the fragrance so that the original bottle remains as intact as possible, while I can still enjoy the scent.
Ed Pinaud's Flirt is truly something special, and I am very happy that I can call No. 0452 of 1000 of this fragrance, which was reissued in 1990, my own.
It is no longer available, but Ed Pinaud has three new flirts on offer - Flirt Iris, Flirt Pivoine, and Flirt Jasmin (http://ed-pinaud.com/en/products/1/#top). I am already tempted to get to know these three and possibly other Pinauds, but the procurement seems to be a bit complicated. However, I will stay on it because I am curious and eager to learn.

Addendum 17.03.2015: As I learned today from Ed Pinaud Parfums, the website will also have a webshop by the end of this year, so that you can order the perfumes directly there. Excited ;-)
