At the Turkish Barber
Smells somewhat like the stuff you get slapped on your neck at the end of a barber visit in the Balkans. Starts off very alcoholic and after a while transitions into a citrus scent. I hardly perceive the rest of the fragrance pyramid. Overall, it feels rather synthetic, and it only reminds me of freshness through the barber association.
However, the longevity is better than what most here have rated. The bottle is unremarkable, neither good nor bad. Overall, it’s a gift I could have done without (not wanting to sound ungrateful).

Happy Birthday Mr. Moeller - and more luck next time
Since today happens to be the birthday of former amateur bodybuilder world champion and "showman" Ralf Moeller (this is truly a coincidence - I just saw it while researching), this comment comes at the right time.

A few years ago, when I was still working at a large telecommunications company, my colleagues and I saw Mr. Moeller a few times in the in-house cafeteria. We were a bit puzzled and speculated whether he was just there to top up his prepaid card or was courting a sponsorship deal with the board. However, by that time, his zenith had long passed - after all, his most famous film "Gladiator," in which he played only a minor role, was many years old. He probably just wanted to visit someone - the actual reason was never clarified.

At least he managed to sign a contract with LR during that same period, which gave him the eponymous fragrance Ralf Moeller (the umlaut was internationalized) and probably a few pennies or some pocket change.

It apparently was winter and Mr. Moeller was heavily congested; otherwise, he would have smashed the LR lab to bits with the offered fragrance samples. It’s hard to explain how this scent slipped past him. Or perhaps he was first presented with "Boris Becker" from LR, against which any other fragrance would smell like perfume created by God himself.

At first, Ralf Moeller comes off very alcoholic, like almost all LR products. Instead of citrus notes, however, I perceive more the smell of sweat. Perhaps the perfumer wanted to flex his muscles and reference the bodybuilding theme. Only after that does something aquatic-spicy develop, leaning towards "Egoiste Platinum" for lightweights. But that is already the extremely short highlight, as right after that, the scent crumbles like Mr. Moeller's film career. Monsieur is right, as the ingredients were severely skimped on; otherwise, it could have been something like a 1:1 copy. As it stands, it’s just a nasty knockoff that lasts only from 12 to noon.

But I don’t want to sound grim, as one should be in a positive mood on a birthday and above all wish good things. Accordingly, I wish Ralf Moeller better luck with his next fragrance, or perhaps a better nose; who knows, maybe he’ll also have a better sense for great film offers again.

Knockoff Platinum or Why Ralf Moeller Walks Around as an Egoist
Part 4 of the LR series:
Today we are dealing with another actor, the German equivalent of Bruce Willis: Ralf Moeller, the cigar-smoking cool muscle man who makes films with action instead of NiWo, gets to talk a bit smart during the Superbowl on German television (which connects him with the next review - Boris Becker) and almost speaks American in his mother tongue...
At this point, I could rhetorically ask whether they have created a fragrance that comes close to his personality, is individual and bursting with power; but you already know that this won't be the case... ;-)
What have they copied this time (or rather tried to copy)? -> Platinum Égoïste
I like the original and have it; I won't get into the miserable discussions about the Chanel men's range since the first Égoïste here at all.
For Mr. Moeller, they created a copy that is okay at first, then falls apart in typical LR fashion and becomes something vague, with the difference in ingredients from Chanel brutally evident...
However, it is neither intrusive nor annoying like other LRs and therefore somewhat bearable for Mr. 0815.

I can't understand the bad reviews here. It's synthetic, but it's not a bad scent.
