Have you ever eaten olives with honey?
di palomo, hmm… never heard of it. But from the scent notes, it doesn’t sound too bad at all. On one hand, it’s fresh with its citrus notes (much to the dismay of my cat :D), on the other hand, it’s also sweet-delicious (honey, hmm… yummy yummy :D) and even a bit unusual with the olives, which I also really like, well, it just depends on the variety, as there are so many different ones, like with almonds, spicy chili, paprika, but also with fish (and I didn’t know that back then until a dear friend showed me! Her quirky taste is sometimes good for something, he he he :DD). I think it was anchovies or something, but it was also quite tasty :)
On the other hand,… olives together with honey now?
Well, what doesn’t sound particularly great in terms of taste can be quite nice olfactorily. And maybe you belong to the quirky types who also have a strange taste, like putting ham on Nutella (*gag no.1*), or eggs on pizza (a friend of my brother did that, it was so awful :D … *gag no.2*), or jam on peanut butter like the Americans (but… I must admit, I tried that once out of curiosity,… and it wasn’t that bad,… oh no, aside from being a nerd here, I’m now also like all of you, so quirky… he he he :DDD … *sigh*).
But anyway, before I continue discussing strange eating habits, I’d better get to the scent, because as I said, it can smell quite nice :)
A little later, you can smell the honey better, which has turned out to be light and airy (but still delicious), now also beautifully sweet-smelling and despite the rosy scent in the background from the rose, it doesn’t necessarily smell like rose honey.
A delicate olive note can actually be perceived, but it could also be olive oil, although both probably smell quite similar. This olive scent even becomes a bit stronger and thus more detectable as the fragrance develops. The honey, on the other hand, unfortunately loses strength from the base.
Amber seems to be hardly present, the musk is a bit weak, but at least detectable. The sandalwood, however, fits quite well with the olives.
Later on, the honey is completely gone, it smells slightly woody with remaining olive notes, and I had the feeling that the scent in the background then becomes slightly floral.
The longevity is about five or six hours, but most of the lovely scent is already gone after about two hours, so it wouldn’t hurt to spray a little more then.
Aaah, you know what? This scent has turned out not only quite beautiful, but I’m also pretty sure that you ladies will find the scent even more wonderful :)
Aside from the rather ordinary, citrusy beginning, there are great scent notes here that you might really like, such as honey, olives, and roses.
It’s actually a shame that the scent has turned out to be quite weak in projection, but perhaps that’s actually a strength of the fragrance, as it can be worn very well on hot days without the sweetness (or the spicy notes) overwhelming you, as some Angels might do in summer. Of course, all the scent notes, as lovely as they are, are rather meant for personal enjoyment, as you can hardly smell them on someone else. But for relaxation, the scent is quite suitable, especially if you like olives and find the rather unusual scent (at least in perfumes) appealing (I personally find this scent note very successful, as it also exudes a wonderful, Mediterranean atmosphere like on a vacation, just missing the chirping crickets *sigh*)
A lovely scent, which, however, should be reapplied after about two or three hours if you want to continue smelling some honey and such.
Well, as I said, the scent is definitely worth trying :)

The scent:
It starts off as expected (citrusy) fresh with bergamot and oranges. In the background, I can already smell a sweetness, which, however, doesn’t come from the honey yet, but rather from the jasmine, although soon there’s a first, slightly spicy note from the honey. A little later, you can smell the honey better, which has turned out to be light and airy (but still delicious), now also beautifully sweet-smelling and despite the rosy scent in the background from the rose, it doesn’t necessarily smell like rose honey.

The sillage and longevity:
The projection is quite low, which is actually a shame. Especially with a honey note, one would expect a stronger scent here. This means that the fragrance will only be detectable from close up, and only for a short time. The longevity is about five or six hours, but most of the lovely scent is already gone after about two hours, so it wouldn’t hurt to spray a little more then.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and quite simple in design. On the front, there is a rectangular indentation where a label is embedded, featuring a drawing of olives and olive blossoms. The cap is rectangular and curves down at the sides. A simple bottle, but at least with a nice label. Aaah, you know what? This scent has turned out not only quite beautiful, but I’m also pretty sure that you ladies will find the scent even more wonderful :)
