Luxury Hotel
I ordered a sample because the ‘Blended Bigarade’ fits into the category of scents that I really enjoy - powdery, woody, fruity, floral. And my surprise was truly great - I did not expect something like this from such a fragrance.
The top notes really hit me in the nose - citrusy, balsamic, unbalanced (nail polish remover?) After a few minutes, suddenly core soap emerged - clean, almost sterile. The core soap phase is also the final phase on my skin; the scent becomes intimate but remains well noticeable. Here, I don’t smell anything gourmand; for me, it’s just fresh and clean. I checked - the Corps Volatils fragrances are mostly meant for layering. And indeed, the scent would hardly be wearable on its own. But this is how bed linens in a luxury hotel could smell... well, or even at home... But I want to go on vacation finally! I want to have a champagne breakfast, and in bed, smelling of Blended Bigarade;-)
