Musky Fougère

Green take by the swedish house of a fougère accord in which clary sage is surely the main character. Of course you are not getting top tier ingredients, just because youre not paying for them. Instead here (or in Continental by the same house) I get an extreemely well blended formula, that lasts and delivers a nice evolution of the smell, just like a niche perfume should. What makes The High Road stand out for me is the musky and clean vibe thats underneath and makes the fragrance very wearable: in the morningh, at work, on a hike with friends. You will smell clean but with a herbaceous twist.
Ps. The creamy/papyrus like vibe is there but is not prominent or lactonic at all. Same with the powderyness of the violet. As i told, everything here is blended to the point where you cannot pick the singularity of the notes, but a unique fresh-clean and musky scent.

Green & creamy

After having tried the Discovery set and after receiving a DISCOUNT CODE I decided to buy a full bottle of this perfume totally blind because, although there are other very good perfumes in the collection, the notes here sounded lovely for me...

And I took the Best decisión ever. the high Road IS a fantastic fragrance, very unique, although It has small similarities with other perfumes like SANTAL 33 or vetiver and SANTAL de CUIT, but in this case , all the notes are very very well blended.

The opening IS for me the Best part. Fig and Marihuana with a small creamy hints of Coconut. This phase lasts for about 45min-1 h and the fragrance begins to get a totally different way.

Fig and Marihuana Fade down step by step for letting the Woody and earthy part comes out.

The effect in the middle notes and the dry down IS amazing. It creates a fantastic área around you, noticeable in certain moments when you move, and which IS really pleasant.

The Coconut IS still noticeable mixed with a creamy and earthy lovely Vetiver and lots of musk. This makes an effect like some aldehydic Fragrances, because It is airy and a bit soapy.

The performance is great. About 7-8 hours projection with this soft-moderate effect.
