Adequate CEO
What do you expect when you hear the term CEO? At least I expect something powerful, something that really makes an impression. This is not the case with Vanilla CEO, yet it is a successful fragrance in which vanilla is at least the focus of attention.
In the prelude, accompanied by citric notes and flowers, which however remain very much in the background, it starts fresh and almost a bit spicy. Vanilla is quickly added and remains very pleasantly creamy until the end, rounded off by the, now only light, citrus notes and a woody, cuddly base.
I would describe him as an all-rounder, this CEO, he has a little bit of everything and not too much of anything.
It is fresh but not freshie, it is spicy-vanilla but not gourmand, it is sweet, that for sure, but not carton sweet, like many other vanilla scents. All in all a very successful fragrance that fits in every season and every age group. One could accuse him of lacking a little edge, this CEO that he is too soft, too pleasing. The Sillage is only skin-tight after two hours, the shelf life is about five hours for me. But you forgive him for that because he is so beautiful and so nice, doesn't bother you at all and you just have to like him!
