A very special fragrance in my opinion. Smoky, resinous, leathery, green, earthy, woody, at the beginning also minimally animalic. Unfortunately, I can't smell the flowers at all. For the first hour, the fragrance is not for me, as it comes across as too "woodsy" and harsh. After an hour, it starts to become a little more pleasant on my nose. I still don't smell any flowers, but a tiny hint of sweetness, which I like. Also, the patchouli is very recognizable and since I love patchouli, that of course scores points for the fragrance. The sandalwood also comes out well. Pride would be a candidate for me to buy if it weren't for the first hour in which I didn't like the fragrance at all (for me as a woman). However, I will still use up my small sample in the fall. The patchouli is really great here, but I have other patch-heavy fragrances in my collection that I like right from the start. The fragrance is somehow cool. You just have to like something like that. You definitely stand out with it, one way or another.
