Great alternative to Le Labo
To me the slightly intense opening of this one lasts only couple of minutes. And I would not call it unpleasant, just rather masculine. But then it goes straight to the The Noir territory and stays there. I love the OG, but the prices of Le Labo are just crazy. This Dossier is a fantastic alternative and exactly hitting the spot. I would not say any note jumps at me, just feels like a great smooth blend of pleasant things. If The Matcha is more fun spring/summer perfume, this one is a great fall/winter alternative. Would suit day and night.
Performance is truly great! You can easily smell it in your scent bubble for entire day.
Prices of Dossier are not dirt cheap, but with discounts it feels like an okay deal. Highly recommend if you like the OG!

Noir DNA in 480p resolution
Compared to the original, this one-dimensional with added synthetic notes reminiscent of citrus (way better and not a lemon pledge like Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette ). The original has way more depth, layers and transitions during wear. This one completely misses the floral notes, also I cannot detect any photorealistic honey, fig, black tea like in the original. However, the Thé Noir 29 Eau de Parfum DNA still flows in this fragrance. I still smell the rainwater sweetness and tobacco, hay in this. This also has that strong ambery note which all dossier fragrances has (especially Musky Oakmoss ). Essentially, imagine taking Thé Noir 29 Eau de Parfum , squish all notes into 1 dimension, lower the resolution from 4K to 480p, and add more amber + alcohol + low quality citrus.

My only complaint is the strong amber and missing floral & black tea. Dossier also has Woody Sandalwood which I think is a great dupe. They should improve Citrus Tea

Still a keeper for me since having access to this DNA at an affordable price is mindblowing. There is nothing like it out there. DNA is 100% niche, not generic. Hopefully, I can afford the real stuff when I finish this bottle!

The Noir? Something is missing…
I have been looking for a scent like The Noir that is more intense and longer-lasting. Citrus Tea smells very similar, is actually more intense, and lasts a bit longer. But something is missing that The Noir has. That something that makes you so addicted to the Le Labo scent. When I wore The Noir fresh, many people commented on it. That doesn’t happen to me with Citrus Tea, even though they are really damn similar.
What a pity. I will have to keep searching for an optimized The Noir perfume.

I haven't tried the OG, but this smells very good! The bergamot is subtle, and the tea, lovely. Duration could be better though.

Compared to "Thé Noir 29 (Eau de Parfum) | Le Labo," it lacks the smoky note. Still, a very nice tea scent with good longevity.
