But let me set the record straight! Contrary to the hype, this does not smell like freshly baked, sweet blueberry muffins — not at all.
Here’s how I would describe my experience:
The opening is crisp and juicy, with a unique blend of grape and citrus that evokes an abstract “blueberry” impression. As it dries down, the fragrance becomes woody and nutty, reminiscent of a bowl of fruit salad topped with roasted hazelnuts. There’s a substantial dose of ambroxan — even if it’s not officially listed—which lends to its powerhouse performance.
