This morning I saw an advertisement for Emil Elise in Breuninger Düsseldorf and thought to myself, if I have to go to Düsseldorf anyway, I'll check out the new Emil Elise.
I was familiar with the brand as I tested all the fragrances when they came to Düsseldorf, but I wasn't convinced by any of them. I didn't like the
Melting Lust, but the rest were mediocre, at least so far.
As some other perfumers have said, this fragrance is very similar to
Hibiscus Mahajád, but for me it's clearly not a dupe. You could compare it to
Club Black Eau de Toilette and
Althaïr, even though they both smell similar, they end up going in different directions. This fragrance has a little more depth, a little more meaning, which is why I would also prefer it to
Hibiscus Mahajád, even if it may not be quite suitable on very warm summer days, but again, everyone as he wants, all just my opinion.
The sillage seems to be pretty good too. I only sprayed it once on my hand, but was asked about it twice, which leaves a very positive impression for me. Unfortunately, I can't say too much about the longevity yet, I've had it on for 5 hours and I notice a veil of fragrance from time to time.
Unfortunately, I haven't bought it yet, as I wanted to see the reaction of those around me first, but as everyone reacts positively to it, I will definitely do so in the next few days. So a clear recommendation from me :)
