Wish It Lasted Longer

Note sure if it’s all finery fragrances but this scent did not hold past 10 mins even with 5-6 spritzes at application. Unfortunate because the scent is similar to Kayali Vanilla at a fraction of the cost. If you prefer fragrance that isn’t strong, this one doesn’t really waft either so it may be a good option.

Not an exact dupe

Not an exact dupe of Eilish, at least on my skin. It's definitely in the same vein as Eilish, but I'm not getting caramel, I'm not getting as much foodie gourmand vanilla in general, it's more of a "basic" vanilla, if that makes any sense. Like, vanilla default. With some chocolate and woods. I quite like it! I wouldn't pay a ton of money for it, but fortunately I don't have to. For the price, it's a good scent, a crowd pleaser, with strong sillage and lasting power, as I've come to expect from this dupe house.

Sweet on the Outside by Fine'ry EDP

Supposedly this is a "dupe" for Eilish #1. I have never tried that scent, so I can't vouch for how close Sweet on the Outside matches the original scent. My review is based on the perfume alone - This is a pretty basic vanilla on me. The Tonka makes it slightly more "earthy" than a super sweet, candy-like, gourmand vanilla, but it is still just pretty basic and lacks uniqueness. I think it smells like a good vanilla, but not a special vanilla. If I concentrate and sniff *really* hard, I can pick up some incense, but not a lot. I get moderate longevity (~3 hours) and intimate sillage (even with several sprays, I can't smell this without bringing my wrist directly to my nose). I received this in the Fine'ry discovery set, and although it smells good, I don't have any interest in adding a full bottle to my collection as it just doesn't have that pizzazz I look for in a scent.

Deep and intriguing sweetness, bad dry-down

I found this to be vanilla-centric and quite sweet and pretty without being too juvenile. It has some base notes and depth that really darken it and make it comforting (without getting warm-spicy). There’s something reminiscent of Kayali’s Yum Pistachio happening in this one--probably the level of sweetness over the tonka (a note I almost always love). This feels like a fluffy, sweater weather alternative to YP.

I wore this quite a bit in winter, but I had to give this to a friend because something about how this smelled on clothes after dry-down kept giving me whifs of...cigarette? I don't know if it's from the ingredients or a smoke note or what, but I just couldn't escape it.

I see the similarity to Eilish, but I do find Eilish slightly...prettier? And better-blended. SOTO seems a little muddled in comparison.
