Most mixed feelings ever when testing a perfume!!
I tested the fragrance at Target in New York: sprayed it on and found it really unpleasant. If I had been at home, I would have washed it off; it was too citrusy pomelo with unsweetened violet candy - a very strange mix.
But then at some point on the way home, I noticed that something smelled delicious. I thought it might still be "Yum Marshmallow" on my scarf, but then I finally discovered that it was "Magnetic Candy" on my wrist. And now I would love to keep my nose on it permanently: it smells soooo delicious. Actually just like I imagined "Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar" would: candied pear, but 90% sugar and 10% fruitiness, pink-violet gum balls, and a hint of vanilla cream.
I hope I find the perfume again; then I have to see if I can endure the difficult beginning permanently for the delicious sugar ecstasy that comes later. If the scent had been like this from the start, I would rate it a 10.
