Not Another Cherry is an accurate name.

Admittedly, I've never tried Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I don't like TF's prices, so I probably never will, but I am a fan of whatever they've done here to dupe it, moreso than 7 Virtues' Cherry Ambition.

This cherry is not super medicinal or synthetic. It comes off as a rich, sweet, boozy cherry, rounded out by the almond into the drydown. Honestly, the cherry accord itself should be studied -- this is how a brand does cherry well! The amaretto and rose combo somehow gives a little bit of spicy sweetness with the booziness; it's sexy and sweet. Admittedly, there's nothing super complicated about this scent, but I think that's why I like it -- you move peacefully from cherry to almond/amaretto in one well blended motion. I don't get any rose from it, but that's fine, as I'm a rose hater.

This is for date night, cozy days in, or when you want to feel hot.

Great cherry (but not original)

I really love this cherry perfume, my favourite of the collection. It's a very sweet - boozy and nutty cherry that doesn't really last long sadly.

Now, so many cherry perfumes has that same "boozy - nutty" DNA which is the same reason why it's NOT a need to buy the Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum anymore. It smells the same as : Forbidden Love Cherry Bouquet and the uncountable and overdone "lost cherry" dna's.

Even how much I enjoy it, it's just not so original and doesn't really wow me. It's cheap and good and that's enough !

Not Another Cherry by Fine'ry EDP

This is Fine'ry's version of TF Lost Cherry--I have never tried that scent, so this review is just based on Not Another Cherry itself. It opens with a real, ripe cherry scent. It is not medicinal, boozy, tart, or like chapstick, to me, it is a true cherry smell. Like many cherry perfumes, the cherry doesn't last long, and it pretty quickly dries down to the almond-amaretto scent. If I really think about it, I can pick up a hint of floral rose, but it is not super apparent to me. I get moderate longevity (~4-5 hours) and intimate sillage (doesn't seem to leave much of a trail). I got this perfume in the Fine'ry sample set, and although I like it, I'm not sure I would rebuy a full bottle for $30.

Don’t judge by the first spray

I was surprised by this one. Tried it out both on paper and my skin and the development was about the same to my nose. I wasn’t pleased at first because the initial blast smells like medicinal cherry (think cherry flavored cough syrup) but I’m glad I left it on for a few minutes more. Once it started to dry down that medicinal scent faded completely into a dark juicy cherry scent with a hint of almond lurking at the back. Then over time it really started to develop the amaretto cherry note which is lovely, sweet, and dark. For a relatively inexpensive perfume, I’m very pleased with how it performs on my skin.
