Paolo Terenzi

Paolo Terenzi was born into an Italian family of artisans and was surrounded by fragrances from childhood. His grandfather was a candle maker who passed on his knowledge to Paolo's father Evelino. In 1969, the latter finally introduced scented candles into the family business.

In his youth, Paolo led a bohemian life, playing guitar and traveling the world. But soon he realized that his true destiny lay in continuing the family business. At the age of 25 he decided to take up the profession of perfumer, with the support of his grandfather Guglielmo as a teacher and role model in the world of fragrances.

Together with his sister Tiziana, Paolo revolutionized the family business and directed the focus to the creation of niche fragrances. As the entrepreneur of the Tiziana Terenzi brand, he created many highly acclaimed fragrances that delighted numerous perfume lovers.

In the creation of his perfumes, Paolo is inspired above all by his life experiences. The fragrances are born from the deep emotions he experienced while traveling and sharing moments with his family. For Paolo, inspiration can come at any time and from any moment. Thus, some of his fragrances, such as "Vele" and "Velorum", were created quickly and impulsively, inspired by a childhood memory of Brazil. Other creations, such as "Foconero" and "Delox" are homages to family vacations in Italy and Greece.

In addition to the Tiziana Terenzi brand, Paolo is also the creative mind behind the Giardino Benessere fragrance label, which entered the perfume market in 2015.
